SCULPTURE

The need to bring my visions into physical space—to experience them from every angle—drove me to create these sculptural forms. A university sculpture professor once told me "You draw like a sculptor Donna-Lee" this was a notion that resonated deeply. After university, I sought ways to keep sculpting without having the access large facilities anymore, eventually I turn to Sculpey Clay. This medium has allowed me to manifest my ideas creating a space to explore my inner world with detail and purpose. Each piece represents a grander vision. I envision most of these sculptures on a larger scale, inviting greater interaction and creating a space where viewers can feel the full impact of their energy and intention.

Each sculpture is paired with poetry inspired by the experience of creating and connecting deeply with each piece. I added a few excerpts of poetry to accompany some of the sculpture images below. Enjoy! I would love to hear your feedback, and I am open to answering any questions you might have.

I burn in with purpose, a flame steady and bright, Guided by my feelings, I navigate the night. No longer driven by what others see, I focus on the vibration that resonates with me.

This sculpture ‘Anything is possible’

isn’t just or clay, or concept.

It’s a portal.

A living echo of the moment I dared to believe in the impossible, and it believed in me right back.

Stand before it, and ask yourself:

What am I building with my thoughts?

What am I choosing with my focus?

What am I calling forward with my faith?

Because the truth is simple ...Anything is possible.

But only if you’re willing to believe it, speak it, become it.

So tell me...What will your life look like when you remember you are the artist? The architect. The alchemist. The living breath of creation.

Anything is possible.

And the Universe…is listening.

Terra Preta is a Portuguese word literally meaning "black soil", also known as Amazonian dark earth or Indian black earth, is a type of very dark, carbon rich fertile soil found in the Amazon Basin.
